biotechnology, and now exhorts the green movement to embrace tools and
disciplines that it has traditionally mistrusted.

countering a number of environmental myths and presenting a bold and
creative set of solutions for producing a more sustainable society,
Brand shows how we might reframe the crisis as an opportunity for the
renewal of civilisation.
